The 17.8 km long hike on the mountain - Pleschberg is apart from the length not particularly strenuous. Along the forest roads and trails there are no refreshments available. Therefore, it is advisable to take enough food, because this hike take 5 to 7 hours.

The Pleschberg 1.720m is located between the two communities Ardning and Hall bei Admont. The starting point is about 3km east of Ardning in Frauenberg at an altitude of 680m. At the natural bath we park our car and walk the first few meters through the village. The hiking trail Nr.631 leads us a long forest road through the wood - Zirnitzwald up to Hundskar at 1.180m. At km 5.7 a partly steep trail over the weak ridge begins. There we have nice views to the mountains in the Gesäuse and Grimming. On the last meters before the summit we walk through the pines and past the snow sheds. At the summit plateau there is also a small sink with seating, where you can make fairly sheltered a break.

The descent is first in a northeasterly direction and later to the east down to Zirnitz, a little district in the community Hall bei Admont. Particularly impressive are the very beautiful views of the Haller Mauern and Gesäuse. In Zirnitz we follow the stream -  Eßlingbach about 500m to south and then we turn right. Between Pleschberg and the hill – Leichenberg we hike 145 vertical meters up to the Zirnitzsattel 840m. Back in Frauenberg you can finish the day in the natural bath, or visit the very interesting pilgrimage church with the two Baroque towers and the meditation garden.
