Haus im Ennstal has about 2500 inhabitants and is very well known as a wonderful winter region. Additionally to the ski slopes, there are many cross-country skiing trails, curling tracks and toboggan runs. In the summer Haus in Ennstal is very  interesting for golfers, hikers, cyclists and mountain bikers. The Hauser Kaibling in Haus im Ennstal is a beautiful ski resort in the Dachstein Tauern Region. The ski slopes are at an altitude of 728m up to 2015m. For the physical well there are a total of 14 ski huts. At the FIS – Ski Slope Krummholz Abfahrt was already held a World Ski Championship Race. The ski resort Hauser Kaibling is part of the Schladminger 4 Mountain Ski Area with the interconnected ski slopes and lifts Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Reiteralm and Hochwurzen.

Pruggern is a lovely community in the Enns Valley between Gröbming and Schladming. The approximately 650 residents life on an area of ​​21.75 km². As can be derived from the coat of arms of Pruggern, the place name comes from the term "land on the bridge." This refers to a Roman stone bridge from the time when the Romans built the first roads through the Enns Valley. The first recorded mention of Pruggern was in 1074 at the founding of the diocese Admont. Additionally to the agriculture and some industrial undertakings, the summer and winter tourism is one of the main income sources. Pruggern is surrounded by many beautiful ski resorts like Ramsau am Dachstein, the Planai in Schladming, Hauser Kaibling in Haus im Ennstal, Galsterbergalm above Pruggern itself and the Stoderzinken in Gröbming. The Gallic village is the largest adventure country in the region, with many about 10m high snow sculptures, a 81m long magic carpet, speaking Gallic figures and wooden huts. An illuminated 5 km long toboggan run is also a part of the ski resort as the two ski chalets, a permanent race track and a holiday village with 14 chalets.
