The moderate snowshoe hike on the mountain – Leichenberg in Admont is 8.5 km long and has 372 vertical meters. This tour is more difficult in new snow, as other snowshoe hikers do not know this tour. Also ideal for those who are not want hike on trodden paths and prefer to go in deep snow. From the highest point begining, between km 4 and 5, there are wonderful vantage points to the mountains - Haller Mauern, Gesäuse Eingang, and the villages Hall bei Admont and Admont.

At the starting point between Frauenberg and Admont there is very limited parking. On the first and last 1.6 km we do not need the snowshoes necessarily. Because on the forest road - Naglweg is used by a farmer as access road and is cleared from snow in this area. Then begins the snowshoe tour and we go 2.2 km up. The path on the forest road through the forest has a fairly steady incline of about 10%. On the eastern side of the little mountain - Leichenberg we reach just over 1.000m the highest point of the tour. With some very good viewpoints we go back down. After the homestead – Nagl is the road again cleared of snow. Then we go up a few vertical meters and in the same way as at the beginning of the snowshoe trip back to the starting point.
