 Arguineguin is a town of Gran Canaria with about 12.000 inhabitants in the community Mogan. The place name Arguineguin means something like "still water". In Arguineguin, there is a large cement factory. The inhabitants live from fishing and tourism. There is a beach and a marina, but is not tourism in Arguineguin as pronounced as in so many other cities in Gran Canaria like in Playa del Ingles or Maspalomas.

 Las Palmas has about 400.000 inhabitants and is the largest city on Gran Canaria in the Canary Islands. The parts of the city Las Palmas are as different as the many microclimates in Gran Canaria.

1. Vegueta - The historic old town of Las Palmas with many cobbled streets and stately houses and over again since 1478 in many styles expanded Cathedral of Santa Ana.
